Tomato peanut chutney is a peanut based tomato chutney flavoured with garlic.
Measurement: 1 Cup = 180 ml
Ingredients:
- Tomato (chopped) - 1 large
- Peanuts (roasted & peeled) - 1/2 cup
- Green chillies (chopped) - as per your requirement
- Garlic - 15 cloves
- Cumin seeds - a pinch
- Oil - 1 tbsp
- Sugar to taste
- Salt to taste
- Mustard seeds - 1/8 tsp
- Garlic - 5 cloves
- Oil - 2 tsp
- Heat oil in a pan and add green chillies, stir fry till chillies change their colour.
- Add tomato and stir fry till it softens.
- Combine all the ingredients and grind.
- Heat oil in a tempering pan and add mustard seeds, then add garlic.
- Once the garlic turns golden brown pour the tempering over chutney.
