Aamras is Mango pulp blended with milk and sugar, flavoured with cardamom. It is usually served with puri.
Ingredients:
- Ripe mangoes (preferably pairi or alphonso) - 6
- Milk - 6 tbsp
- Sugar - as per your requirement
- Green cardamom (powdered) - 3
- Wash mangoes, remove the tip and cut them. Collect the pulp in a juicer jar, discard the seeds.
- Add milk and sugar, blend well.
- Pour it in a deep bowl, add cardamon powder and stir well.
- Refrigerate for sometime. (Not necessary)
- Serve with puris.
