White Coconut chutney is an accompaniment to the South Indian snacks.
Measurement: 1Cup =180 ml
Serves: 3
Ingredients:
- Scrapped coconut - 1 cup
 - Roasted chana dal - 1 tsp
 - Green chillies - 1-2
 - Ginger - 3 - 4 slices
 - Tamarind - marble size ball
 - Sugar - 3/4 tsp
 - Water - 1/2 cup
 - Salt to taste
 
- Mustard seeds - 1/4 tsp
 - Red chilly (broken) - 1
 - Coconut oil - 1 tsp
 
Procedure:
- Grind all the ingredients with water, you may add more water after grinding.
 - Give it a tempering of mustard seeds and red chilly in coconut oil.
 - Serve with idli/dosa/uttapam/wada/appe.
