Kelyachi koshimbir is a Maharashtrian dish. It is a sweet raita. Sliced banana with yogurt dressing and a tempering of cumin seeds.
Serves: 2 to 3
Ingredients:
- Banana (sliced) - 2 optimally ripe
- Yoghurt - 1 cup
- Green chilly (chopped) - 1
- Coriander leaves (chopped) - 1 tsp
- Cumin seeds - 1/4 tsp
- Ghee - 1/2 tsp
- Sugar - 1.5 tsp
- Salt to taste
Procedure:
- Mix yoghurt, green chilly, coriander, sugar and salt in a mixing bowl.
- Give it a tempering with cumin seeds in ghee.
- Add banana and mix well at the time of serving.
- Serve it as a side dish.
