Continental Salad Toast




Continental salad toast is a breakfast dish. Mix veg salad prepared in continental style is placed in between 2 toasted bread slices.

Serves:  3 to 4

Ingredients:
  1. Tomato - 1 medium
  2. Cucumber - 1 medium
  3. Onion - 1medium
  4. Capsicum - 1 small
  5. Lettuce/ Cabbage (shredded) - 2 - 3tbsp
  6. Pickled gherkins/ cucumbers - 4 slices
  7. Thousand Island Dressing - 1.5 tbsp
  8. Honey Mustard Sauce - 1.5 tbsp
  9. Vinaigrette - 1 tsp
  10. Salt - a pinch
  11. Bread slices - 8
  12. Butter - as per your requirement
Procedure:
  • Chop all the vegetables and put them in a mixing bowl.
  • Add all the dressings and salt, mix well.

  • Butter the slices and toast them.
  • Place 4 slices on a plate and spread the salad.
  • Place remaining slices on top.
  • Cut them diagonally and serve.
Tip:
  • You may use olives/ jalapeno or any vegetables of your choice.
  • You may use dressings of your choice.
