Bombay Rava & Jaggery Sheera


Ingredients:
  1. Bomaby/kesari rava - 1 cup
  2. Jaggery - 3/4 to 1 cup
  3. Pure ghee - 2.5 tbsp
  4. Cashew nuts (chopped) - 2 tbsp
  5. Cardamom powder - a pinch
  6. Water (hot) - 2 1/4 cup
  7. Salt - a pinch
Procedure:
  • Dry roast rava till it gives out aroma.
  • Wash it with normal water and add hot water.
  • Add cashew nuts.
  • Cook it covered on low flame.
  • Put the flame off once it is cooked.
  • After 2 min, add jaggery, pure ghee and salt.
  • Mix well and cook for 2 min on low flame.
  • Add cardamom powder and mix well.
  • Keep it covered for  2 - 3 min.
  • Serve hot.
Tip:
  • You may add 2 tbsp scrapped coconut to it while adding jaggery.
