Ingredients:
- Rice flour - 2/3 cup
- Besan - 1/3 cup
- Onion (chopped) - 1 large sized
- Green chillies (chopped) - 2
- Corriander leaves (chopped) - 1 tbsp
- Cumin powder/ cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
- Turmeric powder - 1/8 tsp
- Baking soda - a pinch
- Yoghurt - 1 tbsp (optional)
- Water - 2 1/4 cup
- Ghee for frying
Procedure:
- Mix all the ingredients except ghee in a mixing bowl and make a thin batter.
- Heat a frying pan and grease it.
- Pour batter with a ladle, let it take its own shape.
- Once it gets cooked, flip over and pour ghee around the edges.
- Fry till golden brown.
- Serve hot with chutney or ketchup.
