Ingredients:
- Bread - 8 slices
- Onion (chopped) - 2 medium size
- Green Chillies (chopped) - 2
- Fresh coconut (scrapped) - 1/2 cup
- Oil - 4 tbsp
- Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
- Cumin powder - 1/2 tsp
- Coriander leaves (chopped) - 2 tbsp
- Sugar - 1/2 tsp
- Salt to taste
Procedure:
- Cut bread slices into small cubes and put them in mixing bowl.
- Add scrapped coconut, salt, sugar and coriander leaves.
- Mix well and keep it aside.
- Heat oil in a wok and add mustard seeds.
- Add onion.
- Once onion turns translucent, add green chillies.
- Fry till onion turns golden brown.
- Add turmeric powder and cumin powder.
- Add bread mixture and mix well.
- Sprinkle little water, cover and keep it on low flame for 2 - 3min.
- Ready to serve.
